MISSION STATEMENT

All procedures and work practices adopted in the Home are expected to operate together to maintain a consistently high standard of care in all matters that relate to the health and comfort of the residents.
All residents will be cared for in such a way that respects their rights, dignity, privacy, and acknowledges their cultural and individual values and beliefs.
Management and staff should see this as a practical outworking of the Home’s Mission Statement, “Love is the Motivation, Quality of Life is the Result” which expresses the spirit of Christian love in all aspects of service to the residents of Seaside Sanctuary Rest Home.
It is the policy of Seaside Sanctuary Rest Home that all staff who are employed in the home are approved by a member of the Trust board as suitably qualified for the tasks that they carry out. Through appropriate training programs, they are expected to enhance their professional skills so as to ensure consistent quality outcomes in our resident’s care.
Adherence to those policies, procedures and work instructions associated with our quality system is required of every employee of Seaside Sanctuary Rest Home. Each staff member is reminded that a “quality conscientiousness” is essential for Seaside Sanctuary to maintain its reputation as a “place of safety, love and care” and to achieve a supportive and fulfilling work environment.
